10 years ago today Adrenicide was born. The idea of forming an old school thrash band had
been in my head since '99, and actually the band itself was already in existence around that
time. Not exactly as Adrenicide as the name was yet to be born, but as Scarecrow as i had
it named then. In fact songs like "Little Jimmy", "My Fist Your Face" (which appear on our
first demo "Impropaganda") among others were written before i even had met N. Armstrong
(our former singer). A good friend of mine by the name of Ricardo who would later join The
Varukers as a drummer and one of his best mates and also a punk singer (whom the name
escapes me right now!) joined me and we hit it off right away. This were the very first steps
I'd taken to start of what would later become known as Adrenicide. We rehearsed a few
times, and it didn't take me that long to figure out that the only thing i was gonna get out of
this dudes was a few fuckin' hangovers and a lot of fun. But not much else. Now, that ain't
nothing wrong with that, but i wanted something a little more serious. (I'm very possessive
when i commit to something, as Neil would later find out.) If I'm gonna start a band it won't
be with this guys, i thought.

Around '00 i moved together with my girlfriend to Slough were i lived up until November last
year, and had to put the whole band thing on hold. And if I'm honest i even though of quiting
the idea of forming a thrash band altogether. If you would know Slough, or lived in the area
even for a short period of time you would quickly understand what I'm fuckin' saying.
Needless to say that the place is full of fuckin' emos, nu-metalers and hip-hop wannabes.
Against all the odds and at my girlfriend request I've decided to search for new band
members. In '01 i came across most probably the only metal enough band in the area
through a flayer i found on a musicians board, up on the local guitar shop. It read: "We are
Murder World and we are looking for a guitarist. Influences, Prong, Confessor, Voivod, etc...".
I didn't wanna join no ones band, but i thought I'd get to know at least some musicians in the
area, so a called the number. And that's how i got to meet Neil. I did actually joined Murder
World for a few months, and i would lie to you all if i said i didn't have a little fun ...at least to
start with!

One night after a rehearsal with Murder World (at the end of '01) i played a tape to Neil with
some ideas i had for the band. There was lots of shit on that tape including the songs i had
been working on for Scarecrow. Neil really liked it and asked me if he could write the lyrics
and sing on the demo. He was the guitarist of Murder World back then and i had no idea he
could sing or if he was any good, but i thought i give it a try. Why not? I had nothing to loose,
plus i wasn't gonna find anyone else in that world's end any-fuckin'-way...I left the tape with
him, not expecting much if anything really. A few weeks later he came round my house and
we recorded "Little Jimmy", "Eyes For The Blind", "My Fist Your Face", and "Birth, School,
Work, Death". My first thought was that his voice wasn't only cool, but that some of the songs
sounded a bit like D.R.I. I figured if it's good enough for D.R.I is gotta be good for my band to
right?. LOL. The next months that followed we've recorded the vocals onto another fifteen
songs. Almost all taken out of my old tape archives apart from "Uncontrolled" which was
written by Neil. And that's how our first demo "Impropaganda" released in '03 and Adrenicide
as you all know it, was born.

The bands name was taken of "Head Of David - Dustbowl" album, 12th track: Adrenicide.
