For years I've been trying to understand why the fuck some people (as they get older) seem to
grow out of metal. They stop going to gigs, they stop wearing metal gear, they quit their bands
(when they have one in these case) and they even stop listening to metal altogether. Then it
comes the last and the worst, they cut their hair, start wearing suits and hand themselves out
to society. Sure we all need to work, get a job...whatever, and sometimes even have to
compromise a little, but that doesn't mean you have to stop being what you are right? I cannot
even think of such things happening to me, I wouldn't even have a life to start with if it wasn't for
metal. Metal to me is like a big fuckin' family, a movement if you like. Plus how can you grow
out of the best and most honest music ever made?

The other one debate that I have, is when I hear people saying that they are still waiting to hear
something new, or this or that band bring nothing new to the scene, and some other crazy shit
like that. Well, that to me just sounds like a fuckin' pile of rubbish and total nonsense. I
personally don't really wanna hear nothing new in particular, I wanna hear thrash metal as it has
been for the past thirty fuckin' years or so...Old school, uncompromising and simple, as it started
out to be. Not a bunch of dudes trying to prove they can play solos a million miles an hour and
have a thousand riffs on a single song. Is that really needed? Or it's just some ego shit goin' on?
Thank fuck there are still bands out there who know what being old school means. I'm totally
supportive of such bands. Old or new. Horns up to you brothers!

I've always been a big fan of simple compositions with an honest vibe to it. And the Canadian
band Razor do just that. Of course there are lots and lots of other bands and albums I could
mention, but that was just an exemple. When I say to people that I love the sound of Kreator's
"Endless Pain" they think I'm totally fuckin' nuts. Believe it or not I've deliberately used very
low quality gear with ADRENICIDE over the years, just to try to achieve that same primitive
sound. Not an easy job I can tell you that. The main reason for all this talking, is that a good
thrash song is a good thrash song and I couldn't care less if it sounds like another one band.
If it's not broken don't try to fuckin' fix it. Point two is that metal is for life not a fuckin' trend.
You should think it over before joining this truely amazing movement called metal. And point
three is: stop judging metal and the bands that are trying to keep it alive and real. Stop
comparing bands to one another and just enjoy the music. If you have nothing else to do,
just FUCK OFF!!!

Thrash 'til death and fuck off false metalers. You don't belong here!
